Introduction to Mindfulness
Stress and anxiety are a big part of our modern vocabulary as we juggle demanding work commitments with family and personal requirements. This often results in sleep disorders, feelings of being overwhelmed, an inability to deal with situations, fatigue and depression. Learning to be more mindful can counteract all of these difficulties by connecting us with the moment at hand, giving us the space to manage each thought and situation with calmness and clarity.
Introduction to mindfulness is a 1 hour, 5 week course designed to help you understand and cultivate mindfulness both as a formal practice and as a way of life. The sessions will explore different aspects of the self, both in theory in practice, throughout the 5 weeks as objects of meditation conferring its benefits into daily life. These benefits include helping you reclaim physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, find joy in life, unlock your creativity and live to your highest potential.
